On Tuesday the Delta/VIP Mentors at Romulus Elementary held an Easter egg hunt for their mentees. Students were able to find over 400 eggs. The Easter Bunny himself was a special guest and enjoyed spending time with the students and their mentors.

As part of the March is Reading Month celebratory activities, a group of kindergarten and first grade students were treated to a book read to them by Mayor Burcroff. The Mayor chose to read Put Me in the Zoo by Robert Lopshire.

Romulus Elementary Students in Mrs. Hall's 3rd Grade classroom worked on getting healthy and fit using Fit Bits and Healthy Living lessons provided through the Building Healthy Communities Program. Ms. Julie Rosenbaum taught the students how to spell out healthy words using their bodies.

On Wednesday, April 9th students from Barth, Halecreek, Romulus, and Wick Elementary visited the Public Service Credit Union on Merriman Road. Students have spent the year learning about economics and saving money in their own savings account.
